“If you think you are too small to make an impact in LIFE. Try to go to bed with a mosquito in the room.” Anita Roddick
Today I want to share with you the story of Caine Monroy, a 9-year-old kid who spent his summer vacation building an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad’s used auto part store. Caine has a touched the hearts of millions of people with his masterful arcade creation, but most importantly he brought hope to many people who thought they couldn’t achieve their WILDEST DREAMS. After you watch this video you will end up believing that any dream can become a reality :-).
Despite the lack of traffic he got at the beginning he continuously innovated, redesigned, experimented and made things better and more efficient on his first startup. He didn’t waste any time, he prepare himself for the best and positioned his business for SUCCESS.
“It’s better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one, than to have an opportunity and not be prepared.” Les Brown
This is a wonderful story on the power of sticking to your dreams, following your passions and having a positive attitude through the journey. Sometimes we just gotta take the first step. We don’t have to know everything and how things are going to unfold. Lets the dream manifest itself!! Of course, taking action. You often hear the phrase, “a thousand miles journey start with a single step”. It’so true and powerful!!
Our imagination and creativity could take us to places we have never imagined if we jut let them roll. Let’s take a leap of faith, do something new and exillarating. Let’s give it a try to do whatever it is even if people think we are crazy. At the end of the day, it’s better to be a crazy person following a dream than settling and living a mediocre life. Don’t you think?
“Logic will take you from point A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” Albert Einstein
Hopefully Caine’s entrepreneurship spirit, positive attitude and optimism inspire you as much as it did to me!
